          <li><strong>Information you give us:</strong> your name, mobile number, email address and the role you select (student/parent or teacher) when you request early access, sign up, or contact us.</li>
          <li><strong>Learning &amp; booking information</strong> (once the platform is live): the classes you book, teachers you connect with, and messages exchanged for support.</li>
          <li><strong>Payment information:</strong> payments are processed by our payment partner Razorpay. We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.</li>
          <li><strong>Technical information:</strong> IP address, device/browser type and basic usage analytics, collected to keep the service secure and working.</li>

          <p>Today, before launch, the only thing most visitors give us is a name and a mobile number on the early-access form. That is it &mdash; there is no account, no booking history and no payment to collect yet.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>To notify you about early access and, once live, to create and operate your account.</li>
          <li>To connect students with teachers, enable bookings, and process payments.</li>
          <li>To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.</li>
          <li>To keep our platform safe, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.</li>
          <li>To send you service updates. We will only send marketing messages where you have consented, and you can opt out at any time.</li>

        <h3 id="p3"><span class="cn">3</span> Legal basis &amp; consent</h3>
        <p>We process your personal data based on the consent you provide (for example, when you tick the consent box on our early-access form) and, where applicable, for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.</p>

        <h3 id="p4"><span class="cn">4</span> Sharing your information</h3>
        <p>We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:</p>
        <ul>
          <li><strong>Service providers</strong> who help us operate the platform (e.g. Razorpay for payments, cloud hosting, communication providers for OTP/WhatsApp/SMS), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.</li>
          <li><strong>Teachers you choose to connect with</strong>, limited to what is necessary to deliver your class.</li>
          <li><strong>Authorities</strong>, where required by law or to protect our rights and users.</li>

          <p>A teacher sees what they need to teach your child, and nothing more. No data broker, no advertising network and no third-party tracker sits on this site &mdash; the only external requests these pages make are for the fonts.</p>

        <h3 id="p5"><span class="cn">5</span> Data storage &amp; security</h3>
        <p>Your data is stored in India (Mumbai region, AWS ap-south-1). We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the authorities of any breach as required by law.</p>

        <h3 id="p6"><span class="cn">6</span> Data retention</h3>
        <p>We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Early-access contact details are retained until launch and for a reasonable period thereafter, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.</p>

        <p>Under the DPDP Act you have the right to access, correct, update and erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights in certain cases. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.</p>

        <p>Kautuki serves students who may be minors. Where a user is a child under applicable law, we require verifiable consent from a parent or guardian before processing the child&rsquo;s personal data, and we do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.</p>
