<h1>Refund & Cancellation Policy</h1>

<p>We want you to feel confident booking classes on Kautuki. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for live tutoring sessions.</p>
<h2>1. Free first session</h2>
<p>Your first session with any teacher is free, so there is nothing to refund. You can try a teacher risk-free before you pay.</p>
<h2>2. Cancellations by you</h2>
<ul>
<li><strong>More than 12 hours before</strong> the scheduled start: full refund to your original payment method, or credit toward a future session — your choice.</li>
<li><strong>Within 12 hours of</strong> the scheduled start: the session is generally non-refundable, as the teacher has reserved the slot. We may offer a one-time reschedule in genuine emergencies.</li>
</ul>
<h2>3. Cancellations or no-shows by the teacher</h2>
<p>If a teacher cancels, or does not join the session, you are entitled to a <strong>full refund</strong> or a free reschedule. We take repeated teacher no-shows seriously and act on them.</p>
<h2>4. Technical issues</h2>
<p>If a session cannot take place or is significantly disrupted due to a verified fault on our platform, you may request a full refund or a free reschedule. Issues caused by your own device or internet connection are not eligible, though we'll always try to help.</p>
<h2>5. How to request a refund</h2>
<p>Raise a request from your bookings page (once live) or email <a href="mailto:hello@kautuki.co.in">hello@kautuki.co.in</a> within <strong>7 days</strong> of the session. Please include your registered mobile number and the booking details.</p>
<h2>6. How refunds are processed</h2>
<p>Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method through our payment partner, Razorpay, typically within <strong>5–7 business days</strong>. The time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or provider.</p>
<h2>7. Subscriptions & course bundles</h2>
<p>Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime and will not renew for the next cycle; the current cycle is not pro-rated unless required by law. Full-course bundles may have their own terms, which are shown at the time of purchase.</p>
